There’s a saying that goes “there’s someone for everyone out there,” and just like this saying – it’s comforting to know there is always someone thinking of others out there. In this scenario, it’s the Fire Department located in Little Rock, Arkansas thinking about Truck Drivers who do not have access to food as many rest stops have discontinued serving food due to COVID-19.
As many know, truck drivers make the world go ‘round, too. They work non-stop in delivering all sorts of supplies – from medical supplies to car necessities to toiletries and much more.
In shorter terms, the world’s essentials.
A Facebook post was shared by Chief James Church at the Quail Creek Fire Department making the community aware that they would be providing free hot meals to truckers as covered by THV11. That post now has over 7,000 shares!!!

Chief James Church mentions “Places like Texas Roadhouse and other places are giving them food, but they’re saying they don’t have a place to park. We have a large parking lot with a side road that’s pretty large. We have an industrial area around there that has 18-wheeler traffic quite often.”
Quail Creek stations a pickup truck on the side of the road with a sign that says, “Truckers only- free food coffee – this exit – follow sign.”
For any viewers that know a truck driver, tell a friend to tell a friend and keep the message going. Quail Creek Fire Department is located on 145th street in Little Rock, Arkansas.
THANK YOU, HEROES! Because of the Quail Creek Fire Department, Truck Drivers will no longer have to drive on an empty stomach.
