Landlord Lowers Rent to $100

As everyone is feeling this pandemic one way or another – during times like these, humanity comes together in solidarity. Whether that means staying home, helping patients, or doing what you can to lend a helping hand – humanity is in this together.

Thanks to hero, John Zutz, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin – his tenants have been awarded a rent break as the Wisconsin landlord is only asking for $100 of rent for the month of April.

According to MSN, Zutz mentions the following:

“I see what’s happening inside the world, in the country, and I realize there’s going to be a lot of people out of work, and they need help,” said Zutz. “I’m not sure if (my tenants) need it or not. That’s the point. They may not need it, but I encourage them, if they don’t need it, to spend the money in the neighborhood.”

That’s the spirit, Kutz! Making a change to encourage others to do the same.

One of Kutz’ tenants, Cai Logan, mentioned he is down on 50% of his income due to this crisis.

He states:

This is affecting everyone, and this is affecting me financially,” Logan said. “I felt relieved, and I also felt grateful on a community level because (Zutz’s) intention was to free up some money to invest back in the neighborhood during a time of economic downturn.”

What a wonderful way to make a difference and pass on the inspiration.

You’re so appreciated, hero!!!
