It may be difficult for some of us to concentrate while working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anxiety levels are high and news reports are constantly on the TV or radio.

    Tips

Try giving yourself a transition back to work after listening to live reports. Maybe start by opening your emails and gradually get your attention back to work.

It is also important to create a comfortable workspace. Start by finding a quiet space that is comfortable. Clear out any clutter.

Create working hours and let others in the house know you cannot be disturbed during that time. Keep a routine. Wake up the same time each day, take a lunch hour, and try to exercise a bit during the day. It will help you focus.

Ultimately, there is no set solution. Set up your work from home routine in whatever works best for you. Ask yourself what works best for you, and what makes you most productive. And be patient. This is new to most of us, so give it time. Remind yourself you are doing your best and it will all work out.
